Raspberry + Chocolate

Se existem duas coisas que eu adoro, são fruta e chocolate. Para mim é muito difícil viver sem um ou sem o outro. Melhor ainda quando eu consigo combinar a fruta + o chocolate em uma mesma receita. Delícia e delírio absolutos!
Simples, fácil e delicioso.
Perfeito como um snack da tarde.

If there are two things that I love, they are fruit and chocolate. For me it is very difficult to live without one or the other. It’s even better when I can combine the fruit + chocolate in the same recipe. An absolute delight and delirium!
Simple, easy and delicious. Perfect as an afternoon snack.

Coloque as gotinhas de chocolates de “cabeça para baixo” de forma que a pontinha do chocolate fique dentro da raspberry.

Place the chocolate chips in “upside down” so that the tip is inside the raspberry.

<3 Dress!

Eu sou super fã de vestidos. Se pudesse, esse era o único tipo de peça de roupa que eu usaria. Vestidos longos, curtos, médios e etc.
Tudo culpa desse meu lado feminino, que teima em ser 100% superior ao meu lado masculino ou desencanado.
Acho que os vestidos nos deixam elegantes de uma maneira que calça jeans nenhuma irá conseguir e quando eu ví esse longo, com detalhes nos ombros e fenda nas pernas, foi amor à primeira vista.

I’m a super fan of dresses. If I could, that is the only type of clothing that I would wear. Long dresses, short, medium and so on.
You can blame my feminine side, that insists on being 100% stronger than my masculine side.
I think that dresses make us look elegant in a way that no jeans will ever achieve and when I saw this long dress with details on the shoulders and slits on the legs, it was love at first sight.

Sorria.. It’s Friday! :)

Essa semana foi mais ou menos assim.. Acorda, anda com os dogs,trabalha, trabalha, trabalha, pouco tempo para comer, trabalha, trabalha, trabalha, exausta, mais um “pepino” para resolver, anda com os dogs, trabalha, trabalha, trabalha.. Ufaaaaa!!!
Mas mesmo acabada, eu estou muito feliz em saber que sexta-feira chegou e mais feliz ainda em poder celebrar…a vida! O ano de 2013 começou corrido, mas abençoado. Ainda estamos em Janeiro, mas eu já tenho muito o que agradecer e comemorar.

This week was like this .. Wake up, walk the dogs, work, work, work, little time to eat, work, work, work, exhausted, one more problem to resolve, walk the dogs, work, work, work .. Oh God!!
But even super tired, I am very happy to know that Friday has came and even happier to be able to celebrate…life!
The year 2013 started with a lot of things do to but really blessed
We’re still in January but I already have so much to to give thanks for and to celebrate.

DIY – Kit Saúde

Com tantas mudanças de temperatura, não dá para estranhar que tanta gente esteja ficando doente e neste final de semana, eu fui visitar uma grande amiga que estava começando a reclamar de dores na garganta, cansaço e todos os outros sintomas que nós temos quando estamos começando a adoecer, então, para alegrá-la e ajudá-la, eu resolvi criar esse Kit Saúde pois atenção e cuidado, nunca são demais.

With so many changes in the weather, we can not wonder that so many people are getting sick. This weekend, I was visiting a good friend who was beginning to complain of sore throat, tiredness and all the other symptoms that we have when we are starting to get sick, so I decided to create this Health Kit to help and cheer her up because care and attention are never too much.

Ps: Se você ainda quiser dar um “up” no seu kit, você pode acrescentar uma revista ou um livro.

Carmel Mission

Se você está visitando a Península de Monterey, não deixe de visitar a Carmel Mission. É imperdível, pois conseguiram manter o significado histórico do local.
É o segundo, das 21 Missões construídas na California. http://missions.bgmm.com
Considerada a missão Franciscana mais autenticamente restaurada, e apesar de seus inúmeros eventos e missas, o pátio e jardins da Carmel Mission, são locais tranquilos para meditar ou descansar.
Programe-se de passar uma hora explorando o local. Lá, você terá uma compreensão ampla da história da Califórnia, das pessoas desta região durante o tempo em que os espanhóis e mexicanos estiveram aqui.
Belos jardins, pacífico clastros, bela igreja.
Por causa da influência espanhola na arquitetura, história e jardim, várias vezes eu tive que me lembrar que eu ainda estava na Califórnia.

The Carmel Mission is a must-see if you are visiting the Monterey Peninsula. The grounds are beautiful and they have managed to maintain the historical significance of the place.
It is the second of the 21 California missions (http://missions.bgmm.com)
Considered the most authentically restored Franciscan mission, and despite its many events and services, the Carmel Mission’s courtyard and gardens are peaceful places to meditate or rest.
You must stop and spend an hour in the Mission. It will give you an extensive understanding of the history of California and of its the people of this region during the Spanish and Mexican times. Beautiful gardens, peaceful cloister, beautiful church. With all the architecture, history, gardens and Spanish influence, if you’re like me, you may have to snap out if it to remember you’re in California.

A entrada custa apenas $7, e você pode ficar lá, o tempo que quiser. A igreja é muito bonita, e entre o interior da igreja e os jardins, você provavelmente irá “gastar” uns bons 20 minutos de caminhada.
É um pouco longe do centro de Carmel,portanto vá de carro ou bicicleta.
Eu adorei poder explorar e conhecer a história de Carmel Mission.
Se você também é fã de programas como esse, com certeza, não irá se decepcionar!

Admission is $7, and you can stay as long as you please.
The church is quite beautiful, and between the interior of the church and the surrounding gardens, you’ve probably got a nice twenty minutes worth of walking around. It’s a bit too far from the rest of Carmel to jwalk, I’d either bike or drive over.
I had a great time looking at all the history. A beautiful Mission for sure!! You won’t be disappointed.
